* SUPPORTED and CO-ORGANIZED by:

The MosaicLearning project (http://mosaic.gast.it.uc3m.es) and the European FP6-IST-EU project grid4all (http://grid4all.eu).

*SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES:

Collaborative learning systems have caused a drastic change in the way people focus work and learning, especially at a distance. An influencing issue concerns the analysis of both the systems performance and group interactions. The latter constitutes an important factor for group monitoring, support and performance. To support and enhance collaboration and learning, P2P and grid middleware and applications have opened new interesting possibilities. One the one hand, P2P allows collaborators to share their own resources; on the other hand, grid facilitates the access to remote learning services and resources not affordable locally as well as the increase of the participants’ capacity to carry out specific tasks. Special emphasis is given to systems and applications that focus on participants that provide their own resources for the achievement of their goals.

This workshop aims at providing a forum for academic researchers, professionals and practitioners to exchange their experiences and their ideas about problems and solutions related to the design, development and use of groupware learning systems and applications. Researchers can report their ideas, models, designs and experiences on the proposed topics.
